TAXI PDC TO CHAAK TUN DRIVER
They also take photos for you, but our driver was waiting and I didn't get to see them. I know there are many cenotes to visit, but if you're staying in PDC, it's close and a really cool experience which takes under 3 hours. Jorge picked us up and we paid 250 pesos more for the return trip. They have nice restrooms, the lockers were big enough to fit all of our stuff and we had a big fat backpack. We used them and were never uncomfortable. If you get cold easily, you'll want a wetsuit. We were hot going in, so the cool water felt wonderful. I think if you get claustrophobic you might not like it, but you probably wouldn't be doing this anyway. We got wet in the rain walking between caverns but we were already wet so no big deal. It was a rainy day and this was the perfect activity since you are in a cavern and the rain doesn't matter. The tour lasted about an hour and a half. Our taxi driver left his name and said he would return to pick us up. We stayed at a resort in Playa del Carmen and caught a taxi to the caves. You need an ID to leave for the gear, which you get back when you return it. Cenote Chaak Tun, Playa del Carmen: Hours, Address, Cenote Chaak Tun Reviews: 4.5/5. Tickets were 500 pesos or $30 US per person and included guided tour, water shoes, wetsuit, water flashlight and locker with key. When we got there the lady said it's best to just get there so you aren't paying more to a middle man. We didn't do a tour in advance, although there are MANY people who will want to sell you a tour. The admission is 30 pp and included a guided tours and snorkel equipment. We had previously read the reviews and decided to give it a try.
We stayed in the Playacar area and decided to take a 15 minute taxi ride (250 pesos each way) to the this Cenote. We took a taxi with Jorge driving, which took about 20 minutes and cost 250 pesos one way. For an excellent and affordable adventure visit the Chaak Tun Cenote. Since I'm always the one taking pictures, it's nice to actually be in them as well! I definitely recommend this park, well worth the entrance fee.My husband, son & I went to Chaak Tun.
We ended up buying the photo package as it priced really well for a ton of photos. In fact, there were a lot of pictures I didn't even know were taken, and they were awesome. A photographer was taking pictures of us, but not in an obtrusive way. There's no wait to get your ziplining gear on, no wait for lunch, it's much more private, the Cenotes are amazing, and the whole staff is there for you. Fanatastic friendly guides, all the equipment you need supplied, and fascinating cenotes to enjoy. My wife and I visited there last month, and it was probably the highlight of our holiday. Ou trocar a segunda praia na Riviera Maya pela praia em PDC. I can very highly recommend Cenote Chaak Tun, which is a 10 min taxi ride from PDC. Vocês podem fazer o Chaak Tun, snorkel em Akumal e mais uma praia na Riviera Maya se tiverem com disposição.
This is more "organic", and has way less people. Você colocou PDC no começo do dia, não sei o que pretendem, mas se for pegar praia acho que não dá tempo.
We've been to the bigger parks like Xplor, Xelha etc. Everybody's bad energy goes "up in smoke" through hole in the cave, and good energy will fill you back up :-) Can't beat that! The food and drinks were very good, and it was overall a really fun filled day. You won't understand a word he says, but it does get explained by the guide, and it's actually super cool to experience. It was actually very educational to learn about the caves and the cenotes, as well as being part of a Mayan Ceremony. I can't exactly remember our guide's name, I think it was Amaretta, but she was awesome.
TAXI PDC TO CHAAK TUN ZIP
And I was right! $45 per person got us a great guided tour for about 3 hours, zip lining, a short bike ride to the caves, lunch, and swimming in the beautiful Cenotes. We were actually planning to go to the park right next to Chikin Ha, but after talking to the person in the ticket booth at the entrance of this park, I was convinced that this was the better option.
